St. Anne de Bellevue to Montebello, Quebec

We departed for Montebello at 9:00AM, the first lockage. The procedure is to pull to the blue line as the blue line that alerts the eclusier that you wish to lock through, they do not monitor the radio.  Cost in these locks, $45.

The next lock and the last one on the Ottawa River was Carillion.  Total lift 67 feet. They done charge for the amount of lift but it was another $45. Note the opening is different.  No gates but a guillotine door.  We pulled in and tied up to a floating dock with the aid of a eclusier.  45 minutes later we exited, very easy.

Here is the view as we pulled inside the lock.  Note floating dock on left.  These locks don't see commercial traffic just pleasurecraft plying the Ottawa River.
Overcast day on the river.

First Officer Kurt with Capt Kevin micromanaging.
