Leaving The Harbour - A Fishing Hut

After breakfast on Island Hopper, Ed, Barb and Kevin took the dingy to Hope Town to get some groceries.  Island Hopper departed Hideaways Marina at 11:00 AM for a very short and easy 6 mile run to Sea Spray Resort and Marina at the south end of White Sound.  Winds were out of the East 5 -10, Seas 1 -2 and the skies were mostly cloudy with temperatures in the low 80's.  Debbie and Barb rode most of the trip on the bow.

SEA SPRAY RESORT AND MARINA

Sea Spray Resort and Marina is the place you want to go if you would like to catch a few waves, or you just want to get away from it all.  The Atlantic Ocean is on one side and White Sound is on the other.  The marina has 60 slips and the resort has a restaurant and pool bar.  The crew walked about 3 miles toward Hope Town.  The overcast skies made it a great day for walking around the area.

This is the last night for Happy Hour for Ed and Barb on this trip.  The crew will be having dinner at the marina's restaurant.  The menu is filled with fresh, conch, lobster and fish dishes.  Another great day in the Abacos.  Life In The Abacos Is A Beautiful Ting! :)
