Gore Bay, Ontario

 We left our friend's island for a 36 mile run west to Gore Bay on Manitoulin, Island. We elected to take the southern route on the North Channel en route to Mackinac.  

 We ran slow during the hot humid day.  We were pleasantly surprised upon arrival by a very nice marina and adjacent restaurant.  It was Debbie's birthday but I asked to formally  celebrate it on Mackinac Island

This marina is the home of CYC charters which is Canadian Yacht Charters. they had a very nice selection of sailboats and trawlers for charter to cruise north channel.
