NYC actually Jersey City, NJ

We checked the weather forecast in the AM, before departing.  No wind at the marina and a great forecast. We followed a few boats out the inlet at 9:10 AM.  The weather man was right this time, 1-2 foot seas and winds east at 5, perfect! What a difference a day makes. Stay flexible when boating.

We entered NY harbor about 11:30 AM.  I slowed down to enjoy the view and to keep track of all of the traffic, from ships to ferries it was NEW YORK.  We passed under the Verrazano Narrows Bridge connecting  Brooklyn and Staten Island.
Bryce and Debbie are enjoying today's boat trip which was much better than yesterday.
Too cool, the Statute of Liberty viewed from your own boat.  I especially appreciate it as my Dad was an immigrant.
The view of lower Manhattan known as the Battery as we headed up the Hudson River.
Ellis Island where immigrants were processed is now a National Park.
Most of the marinas on Manhattan are not protected from ferry wakes, so it is not comfortable.  We elected to stay at the Liberty Landing Marina in Jersey City.  None are bargains.  Marina Link
View from the Marina of Manhattan, note the ferry from the marina which takes passengers to the financial district. (lower Manhattan)
Nice sunset at the marina.
